Sandy Hardy
Administrator
Sandy has been with the Property Owners’ Association since 2013, following a career in real estate in the Cashiers area. Sandy moved to the mountains full time in 1979 and was part of the original group, led by William McKee, which conceptualized Wade Hampton. Sandy and her husband Joe live in Mountain Rest, South Carolina, and have 4 grown children.

Jane Carter
Head of Security
Jane has lived in the mountains of North Carolina her entire life. She has 13 years in Security.
Jane and her husband Ronnie live in Rabun County, GA and have 2 children and 3 grandchildren.

Andy Stuman
Security Staff
Before semi-retiring to Franklin, North Carolina with his wife and dog, Andy worked as a data analyst for over 30 years in the Charlotte area. He has a small web design business and enjoys building fast computers and race car simulators.

Steve Christy
Part-Time Security Staff
Steve became known to Wade Hampton members when in the early 2000’s he and his dad Bill Christy installed Cable TV and then the original internet service to the Wade Hampton Golf Club community. Steve and his wife Debbie live in Cashiers and have 2 children and 3 grandchildren.

Alex was born and raised in Sylva, so he is a true Jackson County local. Alex also works in the construction home building business and enjoys fishing, hiking, hunting and golf

Darrin Verwey
Property Superintendent
After living in South Africa working in the golf industry alongside his family much of his life, Darrin moved to the plateau 3 years ago. His wife and daughter will be joining him in Cashiers this summer. Darrin has a passion for wildlife, good food and of course golf!
