Several Wade Hampton residents asked The Wade Hampton Golf Club to reconsider its policy regarding restrictions placed on outside work during golf tournaments, particularly as those restrictions apply to properties not located directly on the golf course.
In response, the Club agreed to modify the existing golf tournament restrictions. Going forward, only those properties shown in yellow on the attached map (bordering the golf course) will be subject to tournament-related outside work restrictions. Outside work includes landscaping and maintenance, painting, construction, etc. All other properties may schedule outside work on tournament dates.
Inside quiet work is allowed community-wide, to include those properties shown in yellow on the map. However, any complaints about noise from those properties will result in a warning from the Golf Club and the possibility of the work being shut down.
