WADE HAMPTON PROPERTY OWNERS’ ASSOCIATION, INC.
LOT SUBDIVISION POLICY STATEMENT

The WADE HAMPTON PROPERTY OWNERS’ ASSOCIATION, INC., a North Carolina
corporation (hereinafter the “Association”) has the authority to approve the subdivision of an
existing lot into two (2) or more building sites pursuant to Article III, Section O of the Amended
and Restated Declaration of Protective Covenants for Wade Hampton (“Declaration”).
As a general policy the Board discourages the subdivision of a lot or reconfiguring of lot
lines. It is highly unlikely that any subdivision of a lot or reconfiguring of a lot line will be
approved. Nonetheless any requests for subdivision approval or for moving or reconfiguring
lot lines in any way shall be made in writing to the Board of Directors. The Board shall respond
within thirty days of any such request.
Failure to request authority shall be considered a violation of the Declaration.
